Your Arch
The key element directing what type of you will need, is your arch. Is it flat, medium or high. We're going to help you find out with this demonstration you can easily perform at home.

1. Get one of your feet wet.
2. Step on a dry surface.
3. Leave a "footprint."
4. Compare your arch to the diagram we've provided.

Check the box which corresponds with your footprint.

Don't Know (We'll still find you a comfortable shoe.)
How You Move
Ask a friend to watch you walk. Then let us know if your stride corresponds with one of the following.

Normal Pronation: (As you place weight onto your feet, and move your weight from the back of your foot towards the front, your weight remains over the center of your foot.)
Overpronation: (As you take a stride, your weight shifts from the outside of your heel to the inside of your arch and then off of your big toe or big and second toe. A majority of people do over)
Under Pronation: (After you push off, from the outside of your heel, your weight remains on the outside of your foot-leaving push off to your smaller toes.)

If someone isn't around to help, grab a shoe or trainer you wear consistently and look at the soles.

Normal Pronation: Your shoes wear evenly.
Overpronation: Your shoes wear most heavily on the inside/ball of your foot. (Hey, don't worry, most people do overpronate-to solve it we'll put you in a shoe with more structure.)
Under Pronation: Your shoes wear more heavily on the outside edge.
